* Before you try and test, please pay attention to the following instructions :
According to the picture below : Please choose the correct metal plate for your mobile phone ; (Depends on the camera position)
Wireless Charging
You must stick the metal plate on the correct position of :
- the back of the mobile phone (for those without phone cover; or
- the inner side of the mobile cover; or
- the back of the mobile cover **
and align to the optimal position of the wireless charging coil at the back of the mobile phone when placing the metal plate and do not cover the wireless charging receiver. It is always located at the center of the back side, otherwise it will not charge properly.
* The thickness of the mobile cover will have direct impact of the wireless charging performance!
It will not charge if your mobile cover is made of metal or non-metal cover that is thicker than 2.5mm!
To Achieve Fast Charging Standard
- If your mobile phone has the function of wireless charging and fast charging mode.
- If your power supply (car charger) is QC 3.0 or PD enabled, and the output has at least 18W or above. Quality of your cable also play a role of the charging performance.
Note For The Charging Speed
There are many factors that can affect the speed of the wireless charging, such as :
- The temperature inside and outside of your car.
- High temperature will slow down the charging speed; Your mobile phone may switch from fast charging to normal charging mode under high temperature; Or if might turn into protection mode and cut off charging. When the temperature drop down, it will charge again (Each mobile phone brand have their own standard guideline of temperature).
- The capacity of your mobile phone battery.
- The lifecycle of your mobile phone battery.
Note For The Magnetic Strength
Depends on the installation method
- For the ultimate perform is to stick the metal plate directly on the back of the mobile phone (For those who don't like to use mobile cover).
Note for those who use mobile cover and stick the metal inside it :
- It will perform better if the mobile cover is flat.
- The magnetic strength may weaken if the mobile cover is too thick or not flat.
